"Galungan" - is one of the most important religiou

"Galungan" - is one of the most important religious festivals in Bali, celebrated by Balinese Hindus. It marks the victory of dharma (good) over adharma (evil) and is believed to be the time when the ancestral spirits of deceased relatives return to their homes. During this period, families make offerings and prayers to honor to their ancestors, and Gods.

One of the most recognizable symbols of Galungan is the "penjor", a tall bamboo pole decorated with fruits, leaves, and other offerings, erected outside homes to welcome the spirits and show gratitude to the gods♡
